By Howard Rich

There’s a disturbing hypocrisy emerging from within the “establishment” wing of the Republican Party lately – a belief that it’s okay to work against fiscal conservatives who garner the support of the vast majority of GOP voters, just not fiscal liberals.

Berwick: A stealth recess appointment

By Michael Swartz

For those serving as President, making a recess appointment when Congress is not in session is a right guaranteed by the Constitution – Article II, Section 2, to be exact. Inadequate Spending?

By Howard Rich

In a column published earlier this week in The New York Times, Princeton economics professor Paul Krugman condemns recent attempts to inject some common sense into what has become an epidemic of mindless government growth in America and around the world.  With the global economy teetering on the brink of another slowdown (due to excessive government borrowing associated with Europe’s failed welfare state), Krugman and other Keynesians – including U.S. President Barack Obama – are now lobbying aggressively for additional government “stimulus” spending at home and abroad.
